Scrivener
As I am now a mac owner, I finally get a chance to play around with a piece of software that I have been eyeballing for easily four years now.
Scrivener.
It’s an organizational tool for writers, with outlining, corkboard, index cards, image storage, snapshotting…and it may even make lattes, I’m not sure.
I’ve downloaded the free 30 day trial. If I like it, it’s only $39.95 for the full version.
Not too shabby, for something the internet hails as one of the best writing tools you can invest in.
…of course, I will be the judge of that!
I’m going to start using it this afternoon, during my library writing time. If it works, I may even be able to sever my dependance on the internet for writing (with the exception of the Song of Binding, as having a co-author in another state necessitates some kind of communication).
Should be a lot of fun!

What on earth is MacHeist3?
Review will be forthcoming, I promise!
I will definitely be looking forward to your review.
Of course, the Mac isn’t my primary computer for anything, but who knows? And I will be away from home for most of the month of June: I hope to use whatever spare time I might have during that period to devote to my writing.
By the way, did you happen to take advantage of the MacHeist3 bundle this week??
Which computer do you use for WoW? I always wondered if a mac ran WoW alot better than the broken Window.
@Silvermoo
I use my windows desktop for WoW. It’s pimped out for warcraft playing, whereas the little macbook I got doesn’t meet the minimum requirements on the video card. =]
If I had a macbook pro, I know it would be fine.
