My Lunchbox Is Batman
My lunchbox.
It’s okay if you’re jealous. I’m a little jealous of myself.
That’s right. My lunchbox is a superhero.
Note the fully functional superhero cape.
My lunchbox SOARS to my rescue, saving me from the perils of starvation and the icy clutches of improperly stored food.
This lunch belongs to TAMI ?
He’s even got a UTILITY BELT.
Seriously. Best. Lunchpail. Ever.

Very cute! Sometimes things are just so awesome you have to share with others. I just got my first Kindle yesterday and I’m in love with it already.
@Daria
Oooh, so jealous! And you have no blog for me to haunt. Tell me about your Kindle, please! What do you like about it? What accessories did you buy? Did you get the 3G one?

I’m dying here. Definitely DO WANT. So jealous <3
I have a feeling that whenever I decide to stop being lazy and show off my new slippers, the shoe will be on the other foot. Ohohoho :P

Wow.
You just got so much more awesome in my book. <3
I don't have anything jealousy-inducing to show off…..yet. Oh but I'll find something!

Yes it is true I have no blog, I used to have a WoW blog but once they stopped me from being able to post to it at work, I couldn’t find the time to keep it going. So now you know how I found you :)
About the Kindle, yes I got the 3G one even though it was probably overkill. I’ve tried internet browsing on it but it is clunky and still slow to load pages even on 3G. I thought it might be best to have 3G in the event that I wasn’t near WiFi and needed to buy a book.
As a reader it is awesome so far. The text is really crisp and I love that you can adjust the text size and font and spacing. It doesn’t strain my eyes and it looks great even in the sunshine. I like that it is small and light and I get immersed in the story just as I did with a paper book. No more lugging books around and forgetting them at home. For some reason I feel like a nerd reading a book in public, but I feel super cool reading on a Kindle in public.
I read a lot on my lunch hour so the fact that it sits flat on a table without me holding down the pages is great, also the wind doesn’t blow the pages :) The only thing I have to get used to is not knowing exactly where you are in the book. The Kindle shows you the percentage of the book you’ve read but there are no page numbers. The same thing applies when buying books out of the Kindle store, the only indication of size they give is the file size.
I haven’t gotten any accessories yet but I do need to get some kind of cover since I don’t want to mess up the screen. So many choices!
@Daria
OOoh, neat. Sounds like I wouldn’t need the 3G then (duly noted!).
The lying flat with no page flipping I hadn’t even thought of!
Thank you so much for the review. I already know I’m getting SOMETHING for Christmas … just don’t know which one to ask for yet. <3
