New Flash Fiction: Muppet Wars
Mr. Moore convinced me to start posting a few more of our random flash fiction for you guys to read if you felt compelled. Flash Fiction is (by my definition) anything under 500 words, with a preference for things under 250.
The first one’s up now and ready for reading, and is set in an alternate fan universe where all of puppet-kind has been torn apart by the horrors of war.

That is hilarious! I love it!
*laugh* Steven actually wrote a little on the first clash in the war, when the nukes hit Sesame Street. It was pretty brutal.
Just bombs, not nukes.
There was puppet gore everywhere, and Bert will never be the same.
I loved how you veiled the identities of the characters. That was great.
I had to take a minute and try to remember the characters from the Muppet Show, which where not all the same as on Sesame Street. It was fun.
By the way, on the agenda next week is suing one of your inspirations to write a story. I think I might have you guess who writes which story, and that may be extra fun for me if friends participate. :)
Oooh, what day are you planning to do it? I might open it up to the rest of the blog, for fun!
The plan is thus:
Mondays Art day
Tuesdays Music day
Wednesdays Expression day
Thursdays Game day
Fridays Design and construct day
It is a good plan. EXCEPT nothing ever goes according to plan. Things get jumbled all over the place according to whim, friends, orthodontist appointments, heat.
And yes, I have different plans for those days. Yesterday, for music day, we were supposed to listen to the albums we bought last week. everyone got to pick one album that we have never heard before. Jessica chose a compliation of 60′s garage bands. Jake chose an album of electronic music and Nick chose a Cheech and Chong album. Seriously, we were all really excited. “How long do we have to wait? Can’t we listen now?”
Never happened yesterday. The orthodontist appoint made two of the kids tired, grouchy, and headachey.
So maybe we will listen to them today. After the library. And maybe while doing Expression day. Which would be where I use some of your pinterests for a prompt. But already Nick is asking for tylenol, and Hudson will be here today. And maybe Brynn. So who knows.
Which all brings me to….I would love to tell you when so you can create a schedule around my schedule. But that seems incredibly perposterous.
Is that at all helpful??
*grin*
That sounds … like my attempts to schedule my life. ^_^
I think what I shall do is put up a post with a date and a link to the pinterest collection, and invite people to pick something and write on it, then post the results in the comments. I love the idea, and I think it’s fun for anyone. =]
(also, love your music day)
