New Short Fiction: Omega Fire
Another short fiction for your reading pleasure. This one’s longer than flash fiction, but still isn’t a full-fledged story. It’s also a few years old now (and rough enough to prove it) but it still makes me smile, rough edges and all.

Ooooh! I like it! It took me a while to figure out who everyone was (who was inside, who was outside), but I think that might have intentional because by the end it was much clearer.
Great story, I love the idea!
<3 Thank you!
If I were to polish/fix it today, it'd be more obvious from the start. Even so, the bit at the end where Omega comes out still gives me chills.
Ditto.
Also, if you wrote this now it would be much clearer and much longer :p
I love the hopeless situation requiring Omega to be released.
“longer”
SO TRUE! *wails*
I need to figure out brevity, yes I do.
We’ll get it.
Brevity is overrated!
Long live verbosity!
*laugh* Although I could passionately argue that the verbosity is all GOOD verboseness … logically, I know that I could benefit from forcing myself to practice brevity.
That was really cool. Like Lauren, it took a while to get it all straightened out. The MC reminds me a bit of Bruce Banner/Incredible Hulk, or (perhaps you are less familiar with this one) Bhaalspawn.
I love the part where his old teacher shows up. We give such power to those who were once our teachers, and even when we know they no longer speak the truth, their words still hold sway.
Thanks for sharing!
<3 Thank you, Ted!
